Day-01: Delhi — Manali (570 km., 14 hrs)
In Delhi Evening take the Volvo bus at 05:00 PM from Majnu ka Tilla metro station/ R.K. Ashram or as directed by us and board to Manali. Overnight journey by Volvo.
Day-02: Manali — Local-Sightseeing
Arrive in Manali in the morning, on arrival pick up by company vehicle, and transfer to your respected hotel, check-in at the hotel. After fresh up and breakfast, proceed for Manali Sightseeing which includes the famous and oldest – Hadimba Devi Temple, Natural Vashisth Hot water spring [known for medicinal use], Club House, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, Mall Road, back to hotel, dinner, and rest overnight in leisure.
Day-03: Manali — Rohtang Pass – Kunzum-Pass Kaza-Pass (210 km 9 hrs)
The day after breakfast proceeds to Kaza. On the way, there are sightseeing places like – Nehru Khund, Palchan Village, Kothi, Gulaba, Rahla Fall, and Bias Nala. Our first halt is Marhi A barren landscape offering extensive views of the valley and the mountains. We proceed to Rohtang Pass, 3790 M is most popular with visitors, being one of the highest road points and gateway to LAHAUL & SPITI VALLEYSAfter crossing Rohtang pass and driving 20 km, one has to turn right from Gramphoo. While going to this pass, the panoramic view of the Bara-Shigri Glacier– (the second longest glacier in the world) is enthralling and inspiring. Kunzum Ranges at an altitude of 4551m. It serves as an entrance pass to the Spiti Valley from Lahaul and Manali.Goddess Kunjum-(Durga/Parvati) resides in a Temple on the Kunzum Top and keeps guard over the past and wards off evil. Visitors normally do a round around the Temples to seek blessings. The crest of the pass has been marked by a chorten of stones erected ages ago. On arrival in the evening in Kaza camps/hotel. Winters here are severe with temperatures plunging to 20 to 25 degrees below zero.
Day-04: Kaza — Ki Monastery — Kibber sightseeing
Kaza is the sub-divisional headquarters of Spiti Valley. It is situated at the foot of the steep ridges on the left bank of the Spiti River. Today I visited the Ki Monastery. It is the oldest and the biggest monastery of Spiti dominating Ki-Village, After that visit Kibber Village. In the afternoon, travel to Tashigang village to see the La Dacha Fairgrounds and the Chao Kang Nilda Peak.
Day-05: Kaza — Dhankar — Taboo
This day after breakfast, I visited the Dhankar & Taboo Monasteries. Dhankar Monastery is above the Dhankar Village, between Kaza and Taboo. Dhankar means “Fort on Cliff”. The complex is built on a 1000-foot (300-meter) high spur overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers. After that proceed to Taboo. Taboo Monastery is known as Ajanta of the Himalayas. The taboo monastery is more than a thousand years old and is famous for its wall paintings and murals. It is also known as the. Return to Kaza in the evening.
Day-06: Kaza — Chandertal – Chatru- Khoksar-Sissu
After breakfast check out the hotel and proceed from Kaza to Sissu. On the way, you can cover Chandra Taal Lake. The name of the lake originates from its crescent shape. It is situated at an altitude of about 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) in the Himalayas. After that proceed to Lahaul. You can take your lunch at Chatru or Khoksar. Khoksar is the first village of Lahaul. On arrival at Sissu check at the hotel. In the evening you can visit – Sissu Lake & Raja Geypen Temple, the powerful presiding deity of Lahaul Valley.
Day-07: Sissu — Triloknath – Udaipur
After breakfast, I went to Udaipur. On the way, you can visit the gondola, located on the riverbank of the river Chandra. The House of the Thakur of Gondhla called Gondhla Castle or Fort, is the main attraction.Tandi is situated at the confluence of the Chandra and Bhaga Rivers. Tandi’s importance for the people of Lahaul is the same as it is for the Hindus. In Tandi, you can visit – Tupchiling Monastery and the ancient Guru Ghantal Monastery. After that, travel to Udaipur, located in the Patten valley. A beautiful side valley in Lahaul.Udaipur and Triloknath Temple are famous places in Lahaul. Trilokinath is famous for the Shiva Temple. This holy shrine is revered equally by Hindus and Buddhists and Udaipur is known for the ancient Marikula Mata Temple. In the evening, explore the Udaipur village and visit Mrikula Devi. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day-08: Udaipur — Keylong
Travel to Keylong, the headquarters of Lahaul. On the way, visit – Yordong Monastery, Located on Manali Leh Highway in a place called Beeling, near the headquarters Keylong. On arrival at Keylong check at the hotel. After freshening up, visit – Shashur Monastery and explore the Keylong market. After that hike up to the Khardong Village & Monastery. Kardang Monastery or Gompa is a famous Drukpa Lineage Monastery and is the most important monastery in Lahaul Valley, India. The associated village of Kardang was once the capital of Lahaul.
Day-09: Keylong — Manali — Delhi
After breakfast early in the morning drive to Manali. In Manali after a fresh up drop at Volvo bus point. Proceed to Delhi with sweet memories of the trip.

Cancellation Policy
No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations.
- If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
- In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
Payment Policy
- Himachal tour bookings require a 50% advance deposit to confirm the reservation. The remaining 50% must be paid upon arrival.
- Packages for destinations outside Himachal require a 75% advance payment, particularly when premium-category hotels are selected. The outstanding 25% must be cleared on the first day of the tour.
- Full payment at the time of booking may be required for 4-star and 5-star hotels, international holidays, Andaman and Nicobar packages, railway tickets and flight reservations.
Terms & Conditions
General Terms:
- Journey Of Himalaya offers customised tour arrangements based on traveller requirements. Fixed-departure tours follow predetermined dates and itineraries and may not be modified.
- Requests for additions, alterations or special arrangements must be submitted to Journey Of Himalaya in writing.
- Only the services specified in the confirmed booking voucher will form part of the package.
- Hotel arrival and departure times are determined by the respective property and remain subject to room availability.
- Standard-category rooms will be allocated unless a different room category has been confirmed in writing.
- Meals, transportation and sightseeing will be provided according to the timings stated in the confirmed itinerary.
- Flight and train operations, sightseeing visits and adventure activities depend on weather, local conditions and operational feasibility.
- Complimentary facilities cannot be transferred, exchanged, adjusted against other services or redeemed for cash.
- No refund or compensation will be issued for any confirmed service that the traveller chooses not to use.
- Journey Of Himalaya will not be liable for delays, interruptions or changes caused by traffic, severe weather, strikes, natural disasters or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
- Service-related complaints must be sent in writing within seven days after the tour concludes. Claims received after this period may not be accepted.
Required Travel Documents:
- A valid government-issued photo identity document.
- The booking confirmation voucher provided by Journey Of Himalaya.
- Confirmed flight or railway tickets, permits, passport and visa wherever required.
- Participants may need to sign an indemnity or consent form before undertaking certain adventure activities.
Amendment Policy: Preponement or Postponement
- Requests to advance or postpone travel dates must be submitted in writing at least 15 days before the scheduled departure.
- Approval of revised dates depends on availability and payment of any applicable seasonal fare difference.
- A postponed tour package can be used within 12 months from its original booking date.
- A confirmed booking may be transferred to a family member or friend, subject to applicable supplier conditions and Journey Of Himalaya’s approval.
