    Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar

    On your arrival at the Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our cab driver who will assist and escort you to your waiting private cab. From the airport, it will take a 35-minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River. After reaching the hotel in Srinagar, check in to the hotel & relax for 03-04 hours and after that cab driver will receive you from the hotel for Half Day ride:-“90 Minutes Shikara ride in Dal Lake“. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Later return to the hotel & have Dinner, before going for a relaxed sleep. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

    Day-02: Half day Sightseeing tour

    The morning after breakfast in the hotel, proceed for a half a day local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. With a backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan Mountains, the gardens boast green turfs, blooming flowers, and cascading water fountains. You will explore the gardens and later drive back to the hotel and have dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar. Overnight stay at a hotel in Gulmarg.

    Day-03: Full day trip to Gulmarg

    The morning after breakfast, check-out from the Hotel and proceed to our countryside day trip towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields gives you an insight into the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. We arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon, check-in to the hotel, and relax for a few hours. In Gulmarg, you will proceed for half-day local sightseeing and move towards the 8 minutes of Ropeway that will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwat peak board the Gondola Cable Car system, and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so & later do some Horse-Riding to the Strawberry Valley. After these adventurous sports, you are free at your own leisure to explore the nearby places on your own. Later, return to the hotel and have dinner. Overnight stay at a hotel in Gulmarg.

    Day-04: Full Day Trip to Pahalgam

    The morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel, get ready for a trip to a picturesque valley around 97 kilometers South of Kashmir. Known as Pahalgam (which means The Shepherd’s Village), the valley is renowned the world over for its exotic forests, pretty water streams, and imposing snow peaks. In Pahalgam, you can visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. After sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day, we will transfer to the hotel, check in to the hotel for a night’s stay. Have dinner before going to sleep. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.

    Day-05: Visit Shankaracharya Temple

    The morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and move towards one of the most sacred temples of Kashmir known as Shankaracharya. Located on a picturesque hill to the South East of Srinagar, the temple is named after Lord Shankaracharya – A great philosopher who visited the valley about 10 centuries ago. The temple is built on a high octagonal plinth approached by a flight of steps. The summit of the hill is crowned with a picturesque edifice. This hill was called Jetha Larak and afterward, it was named Gopadari Hill. Some are of the opinion that the temple at the top was originally built by King Sandiman (2629-2564 B.C.). There were 300 golden and silver images in it. We will explore the temple and also view some amazing locations of Dal Lake and the city below. We will later drive back to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure for individual activities. Later have dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

    Day-06: Departure

    The morning after breakfast check out from the Hotel and leave for Srinagar Airport/Railway and drop at Railway Station/ Airport to catch onward Train / Flight Home with unforgettable memories::::::

    Cancellation Policy

    No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations.
    • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

    Payment Policy

    • Himachal tour bookings require a 50% advance deposit to confirm the reservation. The remaining 50% must be paid upon arrival.
    • Packages for destinations outside Himachal require a 75% advance payment, particularly when premium-category hotels are selected. The outstanding 25% must be cleared on the first day of the tour.
    • Full payment at the time of booking may be required for 4-star and 5-star hotels, international holidays, Andaman and Nicobar packages, railway tickets and flight reservations.

    Terms & Conditions

    General Terms:

    • Journey Of Himalaya offers customised tour arrangements based on traveller requirements. Fixed-departure tours follow predetermined dates and itineraries and may not be modified.
    • Requests for additions, alterations or special arrangements must be submitted to Journey Of Himalaya in writing.
    • Only the services specified in the confirmed booking voucher will form part of the package.
    • Hotel arrival and departure times are determined by the respective property and remain subject to room availability.
    • Standard-category rooms will be allocated unless a different room category has been confirmed in writing.
    • Meals, transportation and sightseeing will be provided according to the timings stated in the confirmed itinerary.
    • Flight and train operations, sightseeing visits and adventure activities depend on weather, local conditions and operational feasibility.
    • Complimentary facilities cannot be transferred, exchanged, adjusted against other services or redeemed for cash.
    • No refund or compensation will be issued for any confirmed service that the traveller chooses not to use.
    • Journey Of Himalaya will not be liable for delays, interruptions or changes caused by traffic, severe weather, strikes, natural disasters or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
    • Service-related complaints must be sent in writing within seven days after the tour concludes. Claims received after this period may not be accepted.

    Required Travel Documents:

    • A valid government-issued photo identity document.
    • The booking confirmation voucher provided by Journey Of Himalaya.
    • Confirmed flight or railway tickets, permits, passport and visa wherever required.
    • Participants may need to sign an indemnity or consent form before undertaking certain adventure activities.

    Amendment Policy: Preponement or Postponement

    • Requests to advance or postpone travel dates must be submitted in writing at least 15 days before the scheduled departure.
    • Approval of revised dates depends on availability and payment of any applicable seasonal fare difference.
    • A postponed tour package can be used within 12 months from its original booking date.
    • A confirmed booking may be transferred to a family member or friend, subject to applicable supplier conditions and Journey Of Himalaya’s approval.
