Travellers must arrange Mumbai–Delhi–Mumbai travel independently. The package includes Delhi–Manali–Delhi Volvo travel, accommodation, meals and scheduled sightseeing.     Day-01: Mumbai to Delhi (Self Travel); Delhi to Manali by Overnight Volvo

    Travellers must arrange their journey from Mumbai to Delhi independently by flight or train.

    Volvo service: Your adventure starts in a late-night ride from Delhi to Manali on a Volvo coach.  The overnight journey takes approximately 12–14 hours and offers comfortable travel with reclining seats.
    The landscape gradually changes as you travel from the plains of Delhi towards the Himalayan hills. The Himalayan side, which is just ahead, will introduce clean air and refreshing scenery that will begin to establish the mood of your Manali getaway.

    Day-02: Welcome in Manali – Local Sightseeing

     Arrive in Manali in the morning and meet your representative at the Volvo Bus Stand. Hotel check-in will be provided according to the standard check-in time and room availability. Then have a rest, and then go on a local guided tour.

     Visit the historic Hadimba Temple, known for its traditional wooden architecture, and then visit the vibrant Club House, where there are indoor games and recreation. Continue to the Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, Manu Temple, Jogini Waterfall, and Vashisht Temple, known for its natural hot springs.

    Shop and visit cafes in the evening, take a stroll along Mall Road and later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Day-03: Manali – Kullu – Kasol – Manikaran

    After breakfast, proceed towards Kullu Valley and explore its selected local attractions. Visit the local market, Vaishno Devi Temple (Kullu) and a traditional handicraft and shawl-weaving centre.
    Next, visit Kasol Market, nearby cafés and the scenic surroundings of Parvati Valley. Continue to Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, the natural hot springs and nearby temples.

    River rafting in Kullu is optional, separately chargeable and subject to seasonal availability.

    Day-04: Solang Valley – Atal Tunnel – Sissu

    After breakfast, leave for Solang Valley, which is an adventure tourism destination where you can enjoy zorbing, snow scooters, paragliding, horse riding, and skiing. Adventure activities are optional, separately chargeable and subject to seasonal availability. You can also choose the short walk to “Anjani Mahadev”.

     Continue through Atal Tunnel towards Sissu, subject to weather, road conditions and local access restrictions. After completing the scheduled sightseeing, return to Manali for an overnight stay.

    Day-05: Snow Drive on Rohtang Route – Gulaba, Marhi and Waterfall Point

    Depending on the road and weather conditions, start early in order to have a scenic drive along the Rohtang route. Move along twisting mountain tracks with the deodar trees and the sightseeing points.

    The first stop is at Gulaba to enjoy mountain views, photography and seasonal snow, if available. Continue towards Marhi, a seasonal stopping point where local refreshments may be available. During the journey back, take a short stop at a selected waterfall viewpoint to take photographs and enjoy a short break. Return to Manali in the evening and spend the remaining time at leisure.
    In case Rohtang Pass is not open, the tour will proceed to Gulaba/Marhi, depending on the accessible route approved by the local authorities. Snow availability cannot be guaranteed.

    Please Note: Rohtang Pass is seasonal, permit-based and closed every Tuesday. The excursion depends on permit availability, weather and road conditions, and additional vehicle charges may apply.

    Day-06: Manali to Delhi – Departure

    Check out by 11:00 AM after breakfast. You can spend some free time shopping on Mall Road or exploring the local surroundings on your own. In the evening, transfer to Manali Volvo Bus Stand and then board the confirmed evening Volvo service at the scheduled time and have your overnight ride back to Delhi.

    You can also opt for optional customization services that are offered in the package.

    Day-07: Arrival in Delhi

    Reach Delhi between approximately 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, depending on traffic and road conditions. The tour concludes in Delhi with wonderful memories of your Manali holiday.

    Cancellation Policy

    No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations.
    • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the Advance amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

    Payment Policy

    • Himachal tour bookings require a 50% advance deposit to confirm the reservation. The remaining 50% must be paid upon arrival.
    • Packages for destinations outside Himachal require a 75% advance payment, particularly when premium-category hotels are selected. The outstanding 25% must be cleared on the first day of the tour.
    • Full payment at the time of booking may be required for 4-star and 5-star hotels, international holidays, Andaman and Nicobar packages, railway tickets and flight reservations.

    Terms & Conditions

    General Terms:

    • Journey Of Himalaya offers customised tour arrangements based on traveller requirements. Fixed-departure tours follow predetermined dates and itineraries and may not be modified.
    • Requests for additions, alterations or special arrangements must be submitted to Journey Of Himalaya in writing.
    • Only the services specified in the confirmed booking voucher will form part of the package.
    • Hotel arrival and departure times are determined by the respective property and remain subject to room availability.
    • Standard-category rooms will be allocated unless a different room category has been confirmed in writing.
    • Meals, transportation and sightseeing will be provided according to the timings stated in the confirmed itinerary.
    • Flight and train operations, sightseeing visits and adventure activities depend on weather, local conditions and operational feasibility.
    • Complimentary facilities cannot be transferred, exchanged, adjusted against other services or redeemed for cash.
    • No refund or compensation will be issued for any confirmed service that the traveller chooses not to use.
    • Journey Of Himalaya will not be liable for delays, interruptions or changes caused by traffic, severe weather, strikes, natural disasters or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
    • Service-related complaints must be sent in writing within seven days after the tour concludes. Claims received after this period may not be accepted.

    Required Travel Documents:

    • A valid government-issued photo identity document.
    • The booking confirmation voucher provided by Journey Of Himalaya.
    • Confirmed flight or railway tickets, permits, passport and visa wherever required.
    • Participants may need to sign an indemnity or consent form before undertaking certain adventure activities.

    Amendment Policy: Preponement or Postponement

    • Requests to advance or postpone travel dates must be submitted in writing at least 15 days before the scheduled departure.
    • Approval of revised dates depends on availability and payment of any applicable seasonal fare difference.
    • A postponed tour package can be used within 12 months from its original booking date.
    • A confirmed booking may be transferred to a family member or friend, subject to applicable supplier conditions and Journey Of Himalaya’s approval.
