Sonmarg has ancient importance because it was a gateway on the ancient Silk Road that connected Romantic Escape To Kashmir with China. Sonamarg becomes a valley covered in white gold, thereby living up to its name. Stunning place is a masterpiece-come-alive destination. Srinagar is also famous for adventure activities, cultural beauty, natural paradises, and romantic vacations. Srinagar is also famous for its unique cuisine rich with spices. Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar – Transfer to Pahalgam (92 Km’s / 3-4 hours drive)

On your arrival at the Srinagar Airport, you will meet, assist and drive towards the Hotel. We will begin our trip towards Pahalgam and drive on National Highway 1A. This road connects the Valley to the rest of the country. We drive past the saffron fields of Pampore, the marvelous ruins of Avantipur, and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the breadbasket of Kashmir. You can even sample a few exotic pieces of bread sold by vendors near the road. We switch the national highway at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel to the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction. On arriving at Pahalgam, we check-in at the hotel and have dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Day-02: Local Sightseeing in Pahalgam and drive to Gulmarg (152 Km / 4-5 hours drive)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. and visit Pahalgam to spend half a day local sightseeing by driving to the picturesque Aru Valley and Betaab valley or Chandanwari or riding by horseback across the wildlife sanctuary towards Baisaran meadows. Afternoon you return from the beautiful meadows and continue our drive to Gulmarg. You will check-in at the hotel in the Gulmarg and later have your dinner before going for a relaxed sleep. Overnight stay at a hotel in Gulmarg.

Day-03: Local Sightseeing in Gulmarg

The morning after breakfast in the hotel. We will proceed towards the 8 minutes of Ropeway that will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwat peak board the Gondola Cable Car system and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so & later do some Horse-Riding to the Strawberry Valley. After these adventurous sports, you are free at your own leisure to explore the nearby places on your own. Later, return to the hotel and have dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gulmarg.

Day-04:Gulmarg to Sonamarg (141 Km’s / 4-5 hours drive)

The morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. We drive to explore a beautiful secluded mountain resort 141 Km north of the valley. Driving through stony river beds and mud villages with a mesmerizing backdrop of the Himalayan range, the route takes us to the green valley of Sonamarg literally known as the golden meadow. On arrival check in to the hotel in Gulmarg & relax. Spend the rest of the evening at your own leisure. Return back to the hotel and have your dinner. Overnight stay at a hotel in Sonamarg.

Day-05: Local Sightseeing in Sonamarg

The morning after breakfast, we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonmarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque countryside drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams, and blooming rice fields. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sind and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. In Sonmarg we will take a 3-hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajiwas glacier. After our return, we will visit the small town market for some snacks or just pay a visit observing the local people going about their daily routine. We will drive back to Hotel in the evening & have dinner. Overnight stay at a hotel in Sonamarg

Day-06: Sonamarg to Srinagar (87 Km’s / 3-4 hours drive)

The morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Further, we continue our journey to Srinagar. It is around 87 Km’s from Sonamarg and will take 3-4 hours to reach. On arrival, take you to the hotel for check-in and relaxation. Later go for a 60 Minutes Shikara ride in Dal Lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Later back to the hotel & have dinner before going to sleep. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

Day-07: Departure

The morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. We will drive to the Airport/Railway Station for your Flight/Train home with unforgettable memories.

We will update our clients as soon as there is any change. Mountain resorts: Sonamarg / Gulmarg / Pahalgam is open and will require visitors to respect locally enforced measures. There are no general entry restrictions, but the domestic recommendations may change into restrictions. The itineraries and accommodations are subject to modification and change according to the guidelines issued by the Government. Every reasonable effort will be made to operate trips as planned, but alterations may still occur after final itineraries are sent. We will not be held liable for any curtailment or deviation of the tour due to government restrictions. Also due to pandemics most of the hotels are under staff and tourists may have to compromise on certain things.
